DAY-BY-DAY: MUSIC FESTIVAL CRUISE ITINERARY
Monster De Mayo – Optional Pre-Cruise Event
The warm-up starts before you ever step onboard. We are working on Monster De Mayo festivities to kick off the week in true West Coast fashion. Think loud music, cold drinks, fellow headbangers, and the kind of pre-cruise energy that reminds you why Monsters of Rock Cruise fans know how to do things differently. Stay tuned…this party is just getting started.
MORC Pre-Party
You know the drill. If you’ve done MORC before, you know missing the Pre-Party isn’t an option. If this is your first time, trust us — you don’t want to sit this one out. This is where strangers become cruise family and the volume starts climbing before anyone even steps aboard. Expect music, drinks, reunions, first-timers, and enough Rock N’ Roll energy to fuel the week ahead.
Sail Away: 10:00 PM
Most sailings ease you into the week. We prefer to kick the doors off the hinges. With a later departure, we’ve got extra time to turn embarkation day into something more than just a countdown to sail away. We’re already cooking up ways to keep the energy high before we leave the harbor, so expect the unexpected and stay tuned for details.
Then, as the California coastline fades into the distance, it’s officially game on. Grab a drink, head for the music, and get ready for a sail away unlike any other as Monsters of Rock Cruise officially takes over the sea.
Rockin’ Day at Sea
Forget shuffleboard. Forget nap time. This is full throttle from sunrise until the lights come up.

Round Two — Keep the Volume Up
Most vacations start slowing down by now. Not this one. With another full day at sea, there’s still an entire lineup of concerts, artist interactions, fan experiences, and late-night insanity waiting around every corner. There’s no rushing to the next stop when the destination is already right here on board.
Arrive: 8:00 AM | Depart: 8:00 PM
Time to catch your breath…or at least pretend to. Step into Baja and explore Ensenada’s laid-back coastal vibe with ocean views, street tacos, local flavors, and ice-cold cervezas. Wander the waterfront, explore local culture, or simply kick back before heading back on board. Because once you return to the ship, the music cranks right back up.
One Last Shot of Pure Rock N’ Roll Mayhem
The final full day always hits differently. By now you’ve got favorite venues, favorite bartenders, and probably several stories that nobody back home is going to believe. Catch the sets you’ve been waiting for, squeeze in one more photo experience, stay out way too late, and soak up every last minute because nobody is ready for this thing to end.

Back to reality? Not so fast. You’ll head home with a hoarse voice, a full camera roll, new friends, and the realization that you’re already checking dates for Monsters of Rock Cruise 2028 because you just can’t get enough!

As reported by Rolling Stone Magazine, “Livin’ in L.A. is so much-a . . . fffuuuun!” screeched Faster Pussycat’s Taime Downe in 1987. And nowhere was the party crazier, sleazier or more glam-rockin’ than the Sunset Strip, where big-haired dudes and the girls who loved them turned the boulevard into their own personal playground. It’s still a happening place, and some of the old haunts on the Sunset Strip and Hollywood are still there for MORC fans to explore!
ENSENADA, MEXICO
When the ship pulls into Ensenada, trade the stage lights for sunshine and Baja charm. This coastal escape offers the perfect break between endless days of music, whether you’re sampling fresh local cuisine, exploring the vibrant waterfront, or simply soaking in the ocean views.
