CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY

RESERVATION CHANGES, TRANSFERS, & FEES

When booking your Monsters of Rock Cruise aboard the Norwegian Joy, it’s important to understand how reservation changes work. Knowing the policies for modifying your stateroom, payment schedule, or VIP status ahead of time makes adjustments simple and stress-free—and our team is always here to help if you have questions.

PRIMARY PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES

The Primary Passenger (the person who placed the original reservation) is the only individual authorized to initiate or approve reservation changes. This includes passenger additions, upgrades, or transfers.

⚠️ Downgrading to a lower cabin category is not permitted.

A Primary Passenger name change is considered a Cabin Transfer and is subject to a $299 USD transfer fee, payable to OTB. The new passenger must also complete and agree to the official Reservation Terms & Conditions before the transfer is approved.

ADDING GUESTS OR CHANGING OCCUPANCY

Not all cabins accommodate 3 or 4 guests. Triple and quad occupancy cabins are limited and assigned only at time of original booking. Adding guests later is not guaranteed and may require a cabin upgrade or location change, subject to availability.

For VIP cabins, be aware that VIP credentials are capacity-controlled. Additional guests may not be eligible for VIP access if added after the original booking.

All reservation changes must receive prior written approval from OTB. Selling or transferring a reservation (in any form, including contests or charitable raffles) without written approval is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in loss of the cabin and financial liability for the Primary Passenger. Unauthorized transfers may result in boarding denial or mid-cruise removal at the new passenger’s expense.

CANCELLATION POLICY

This event follows a strict no-refund / no-cancellation policy. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the rare event of cancellation caused primarily by OTB.

We strongly recommend all passengers purchase travel insurance, which is not included in your reservation.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

  • Travel insurance is the sole responsibility of each guest
  • It is not offered through OTB and must be purchased separately
  • We recommend plans that include Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage
  • Some insurers require you to buy a policy within 14 days of your first cruise deposit
  • OTB is not responsible for medical costs, lost deposits, or travel disruptions

Carefully research policies to understand what is and isn’t covered. OTB does not guarantee or recommend specific providers.

NO-SHOWS & MISSED DEPARTURES

If you do not:

  • Show up for the cruise
  • Attend an event during the cruise
  • Use your ticket

No refund will be provided. In addition, no refunds will be granted for unused portions of your booking or for cancellations made after the cruise has departed.

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTE

The Monsters of Rock Cruise Terms & Conditions supersede any cancellation or refund policies stated in NCL’s Cruise/Cruisetour Ticket Contract. Your financial agreement is with OTB, not NCL.

Passenger rights listed under the NCL contract do not apply to this music festival cruise.
